We are a UK based dog boutique providing you with handcrafted dog products made using UK sourced manufactured materials and suppliers. This is to ensure our products from start to finish are as Eco friendly as possible - better for your dog and the environment! All our products are made in my workshop in a coastal town in East Devon.

Our Story

DOG & Coast is a small family run business in East Devon making beautiful handcrafted sustainable dog accessories. We started out when we realised that we were unable to purchase none or very little sustainable products for our own dogs.

I am a proud owner of 2 dogs myself, a Border Collie and a Labrador and ensuring their carbon pawprint 🐾 is minimal to the environment is important to me.

We are passionate about making products that you and your dog will love and pride ourselves on making top quality handcrafted products made to last!

And this DOG and Coast is an ethical company and our products are created with great environmental consciousness, whilst maintaining a low carbon footprint, with raw materials sourced from UK manufacturers and suppliers - locally where possible. Our dedication to environmental consciousness is evident in every step of our production process, ensuring high quality products with minimal impact on the planet.

Thoughtful Materials

At the heart of our business lies a commitment to sustainability. Raw materials are carefully chosen to reduce the impact on the planet. Therefore, all of our products are either biodegradable or recyclable. We take pride in our zero waste sustainability model, which involves creatively repurposing materials; such as up cycled climbing rope and fabric off cuts to create unique new items. Detailed eco friendly attributes for each product are outlined in the descriptions.

Delivery & Packaging

When it comes to posting our products, as a small business, we want to be transparent and let you know that we charge for delivery rather than adding these costs to our products, we also ensure our packaging is good for the planet too! This means your order won’t come in fancy packaging, instead it will come lovingly packaged in a Kraft box or envelope with minimal recyclable & biodegradable filling. Where possible we recycle packaging from our suppliers too that has already been used (unfortunately this can include plastic) hopefully to be used again and again!
